Saved research: bctb:research-library:v1 stores requested bookmarks. The comparison workspace can store its selected research IDs and view preferences in bctb-research-comparison-v1. These stay in this browser until you clear them; they are not account profiles.
Search terms, calculators and fit-tool answers are processed in the browser. Our custom commerce event contains only partner name, placement and affiliate status, not these inputs. Never enter or send real recovery words, private keys or account credentials.

Vercel serves this website and may process IP address, requested URL, timestamps and device/request metadata for delivery, abuse prevention and diagnostics. We rely on the legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure site for this necessary processing (GDPR Article 6(1)(f), where applicable).
Technical-log and provider report retention depends on the relevant service settings and contracts. We do not represent an unverified account setting as a fixed retention period. See Vercel's privacy policy for its processing and transfer information.
Affiliate links, external websites and contact
Amazon links include our public tracking tag bestcryptotobuy-20. Clicking opens Amazon, where Amazon applies its own privacy/cookie choices and may attribute qualifying purchases. We do not receive your payment details from the link. A link click is not proof of a purchase. Trezor and Ledger are direct, uncommissioned manufacturer links unless a link is explicitly marked paid.
No merchant tracking pixel, checkout, newsletter form or advertising retargeting pixel is installed by this integration. External sites receive ordinary browser request information after you leave. Read their policies before purchasing.
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and ordinary email metadata through email service providers. We use it to answer the request, investigate corrections and meet applicable recordkeeping duties, not as automatic marketing consent. Correspondence is kept only as needed for that purpose and applicable legal requirements.

Legal basis, international processing and your rights
Where GDPR applies, optional analytics is based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)); necessary device storage is limited to the choice or functionality you request. Contact handling uses the applicable contractual/pre-contractual basis or legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. Providers can process data outside your country, including the US; international-transfer safeguards and processor agreements must be evaluated for the actual service and account. Consent is not a claim that every transfer is automatically lawful.
Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us with the page or service involved; do not send identity documents unless needed through an agreed secure process. You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the Saxon data-protection authority for the Dresden contact.
This notice describes the implemented website. It is not a certification of the operator's provider contracts, account retention settings or jurisdiction-specific compliance. Material changes to optional processing require a new choice version.
